How much does it cost to open a marijuana store?
The following chart lists the items needed to open a marijuana store, and the
approximate costs to get started. For items like salaries of employees, you
should have enough cash to pay at least one month's salary in reserve for each
employee. The reason is that you will be legally obligated to pay the salaries
and certain other expenses even if the business fails.
These expenses assume a store of 1,000 square feet or less, with two employees
besides the owner. Every situation is different so you may not need everything
on the list. In addition, your costs may vary from the numbers given
here.
